Vets day is well remembered from childhood on - when it was known as Armistice Day.
I am trying this new blog since it seems that the one I was doing on the Mac site isn't working well. If this works I'll be sending along the address to it to family.
Yesterday Jean and I worked in the yard clearing it of many leaves from the several maple trees we have. Last night a wind came up and there are more to clear today - but it may have to wait for another day or so. The knee which I had injured 2 or 3 weeks ago is doing some better, but it may need another days rest before tackling the yard work again.
It was good to have the Billings contingent here for Saturday morning breakfast before we tackled the yard.

It works. I leave out the "sign in" to comment, but most of the others use it.
I've got it linked in my blog as John's New Blog and it picked it up just fine. The day here is grey and chilly as well. I must remember to bring the flag in soon as it gets dark so early now.
